TNT Thunder 16U - Carter 25/26 Tryout Information

About Our team - 

Based out of Miami County Ohio, TNT Thunder Carter will be making some adjustments and staying in the 16U division for a 3rd season.  This is driven by the USSSA age adjustment, and a couple long term players going into their graduation year.  We are looking for highly motivated players to complement our existing roster.  Coming off of a successful 2025 season including two tournament championships, a fall league title, and a summer league finalist, we look to continue to work toward growth, and success.  We still have 2 more tournaments to go in 2025!

25/26 Game Expectations -  

  • We will continue to play a high-level B schedule with open tournaments and cross play with class A teams.
  • We will play approximately 15-20 games in the fall, including tournaments.  We will either play a league / tournament mix, or approximately 4-5 one day events.
  • We will practice indoor throughout the winter months and play in 1-2 indoor tournaments wrapping up in early February for the start of school ball.
  • Summer season will begin immediately following school season, with approximately 7 tournaments and a league.  We plan to play 3-4 showcase events, a national event, and a mix of a couple local tournaments.  Expect 45-50 games in the summer.
  • Our team fees are extremely low compared to other clubs.  There is no additional overhead for things that you don't benefit from, and the coaching staff works incredibly hard to raise funds as we realize everything about this sport is expensive.  The most anyone paid in 24/25 to the team was $300.

Tryout Information - 

We are looking primarily for pitching - but all positions will be considered.

Open Tryouts will be at Kyle Park in Tipp City OH:

  • Wednesday July 30th - 6:30-8:00 - Field 6
  • Sunday August 3rd - 6:30-8:00 - Field 6
  • Tuesday August 5th - 6:30-8:00 - Field 6
  • Wednesday August 6th - 6:30-8:00 - Field 6
